A former human resources director is going to prison for three years on an embezzlement charge after admitting she stole more than $1.8 million from her St. Louis company. So reports St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Kyle Bateman accused Nicole Scott of stealing the money to pay for “her lavish lifestyle.” The money was used to pay for an expensive home and clothing, Bateman adds, also noting that she and her husband held good-paying jobs.
