BNY Mellon Reverses Course On Stricter Work-At-Home Rules

Bank of New York Mellon has reversed course on plans to impose stricter work-at-home rules after hearing from angry employees. So reports Bloomberg.

CEO Charlie Scharf notified the bank’s 51,300 employees in a March 6 email that he had “hit pause on implementing any changes to remote working arrangements.” That pause will last a few months as BNY Mellon considers what to do next, according to Scharf’s email.
