The airline company claimed it was justified in firing the worker because she ran afoul of policies pertaining to bullying, harassment and social media use. But the worker claimed that the firing violated her right to free speech and a Texas jury found that the airline discriminated against her for her religious beliefs. The jury granted her $5 million in their ruling in July.
